The East Riding of Yorkshire Rural Partnership brings together a wide range of organisations involved in the wellbeing of rural areas. It identifies ideas and opportunities to improve rural life across the East Riding. Through collaboration, it brings together new learning and investment that empowers community-led initiatives and voluntary sector leadership to support positive sustainable change.
The voluntary sector is an important partner of the East Riding of Yorkshire Rural Partnership and Rural Strategy. It supports the aims and objectives by working closely in, and with, rural communities. We value volunteers, listen to communities, identify local challenges and help to enable innovative solutions.
The Rural Partnership oversees Wind-Farm Community Benefit Funds that can resource voluntary-led ideas and capacity-building projects that can meet local needs and priorities.
We are committed to sharing our learning and collaborating with others to help enhance and improve inclusive volunteering opportunities. Time2Volunteer shared resources will be invaluable for our Rural Windfarm applicants seeking funding from wind-farm funds for projects that will engage local volunteers.
