City Health Care Partnership CIC offers an exciting and diverse range of volunteering opportunities.

The Hub is a central function of our recruitment and management of volunteers, and prides itself on offering a valuable volunteering experience open to all.

Many people take up volunteering to develop their existing skill set or develop their personal profile for employability. The volunteer hub has an excellent training package for volunteers that is transferable to many areas of employment. Through building a volunteer’s competencies, CHCP is also giving them the confidence, motivation and core skills to continue into employment. All volunteers have the chance to gain role-relevant training and ongoing support, to allow them to feel more confident in their area and develop in their role.

There are many other opportunities for personal development through working in teams, meeting/ interacting with new people and developing their own strengths and weaknesses. Of course, many volunteers are not necessarily looking for work, but will continue to feed these skills and talents into the local community through their dedication, commitment and hard work.

Recently, the importance of volunteers has really been highlighted locally and nationally, and we would like to recognise the fantastic contribution and impact volunteers make to our organisation and our local communities.

Volunteers have shown us the true power of communities and over the last 12 months the volunteers have fulfilled over 16,000 volunteer shifts and dedicated over 54,000 hours of their time to support our organisation and the local communities. We are passionate about providing a valuable volunteering experience for all, and the generosity of our volunteer team who have continually given the gift of their time is truly inspirational!
