Sharon Igoe, Goodwin Development Trust

Sharon has been the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Goodwin for 18 years, guiding the organisation through significant challenges, including staffing changes, the COVID pandemic, and the cost of living crisis.

Her leadership has strengthened the board by recruiting three new trustees, two of whom are local residents. Sharon chairs monthly meetings, participates in weekly briefings, and engages actively with staff and project areas.

As she prepares to retire in November 2024, Sharon leaves behind a legacy of robust governance and a committed board that reflects the diverse community of the Thornton Estate in Hull, enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
