Megan Kemp, Yorkshire MESMAC

15-year-old Megan offers vital support at sexual health testing services, warmly welcoming users and ensuring their comfort during appointments.

Packing safer sex kits and participating in campaign preparations, she contributes to community testing shifts. Megan extends her assistance to contraception services for girls and women, aged 13- 19, engaging with them at colleges, the University, and Open Doors projects.

Amid health challenges preventing her from working, Megan has devoted 90 volunteer hours since November 2022 and finds her own fulfilment, social interaction and development through volunteering.

Her vibrant enthusiasm resonates with service users of a similar age.
