Ayosola Odunsi, Welcome House

In her voluntary role, Ayosola provides essential emotional and practical support to asylum seekers, primarily those residing in Hull and East Riding hotels. 

She engages in positive activities at Welcome House and local VCSE organisations, aiming to boost confidence, social skills and connections for rebuilding lives and building trustworthy relationships. 

Ayosola holds thrice-weekly sessions at Welcome House, organising health-focused outdoor gatherings.

Despite having four young children, she has committed 600 hours in the past year. Ayosola’s enduring dedication spans over two years, contributing significantly to the wellbeing and integration of asylum seekers.
