Sarah Lacy, aScEND Hull CIC 

Sarah, founder of aScEND Hull CIC, established a secure haven and vital support network for the SEND community.

Since launching in November 2020, she volunteers full-time, spearheading business decisions, funding applications, and service coordination. Sarah orchestrates play groups, adult SEND classes, arts and craft sessions, along with social events - theatre visits and day trips. 

Beyond managing daily operations, maintenance, and cleaning, she invests 20 weekly hours in session facilitation and around 35 hours overall, handling administrative tasks, setups, and weekend events. 

Sarah’s dedication has cultivated a thriving community hub, offering solace and enrichment for SEND individuals.
