Steph Atkinson, Little Victories Football Club

Steph, a dedicated community nurse, started volunteering at Little Victories FC when her two boys with cerebral palsy became players.

She became Welfare Officer to support families like hers. Fuelled by a personal connection and armed with understanding, Steph engaged in thorough research, FA training, and collaborative discussions to shape the club’s future. She secured funding for her Level One Football course and became a coach.

Today, she oversees weekly sessions, welcomes new families, and ensures a seamless experience for all. Steph’s resolute commitment means that the team are provided with enriched sporting opportunities that meet their needs. Her creativity and passion is inspiring to all.
