Award Winner, Withernsea Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club Admins

The team has united ex-service personnel across the East Riding to talk about their lives. They have made links with lots of community organisations and volunteer at events like Withstock and a bike festival. In the space of fifteen months, they have broken down barriers in communities through their breakfast club, which is for anyone that has PTSD. In turn, this helps service people feel a part of their community. With the help of residents, the members have built a Jubilee Garden where people can sit quietly and reflect.
