Fundraiser Volunteer Award (sponsored by Reckitt)

Award Winner, Stacey Sheppard, Sight Support Hull and East Yorkshire

Mum-of-four Stacey began volunteering for the charity because one of her children has a visual impairment. Stacey has shone in many ways, but particularly when it comes to fundraising. She prepares and sends out the newsletter, contacts supermarkets to arrange donations, knocks on doors for raffle prizes, and works with schools to collect unwanted teddy bears. She then sorts, washes and wraps everything. Stacey even cashes up at the end of fundraisers with her children in tow!

Stacey was unable to join us at the Awards, but this photo of her shows her hard at work volunteering for Sight Support.
