Volunteer Team Award (sponsored by Arco)

Award Winner, Home-Visiting Volunteer Team, Home-Start Hull

These volunteers have supported 150 families in the last year. All of the families who received help say they feel better connected, have better management skills and parental confidence, and improved well-being as a result of home visits. Each member of the team is committed and reliable, completing 25 hours of initial training and then giving approximately 13 hours of their time to a family each month. They provide support to families with at least one child under five and they make a transformative difference as many families go on to volunteer themselves.
