This year Hull CVS turns 40! They don’t just want to celebrate themselves though, they want to celebrate the local volunteers who have made such a difference to the community.

Natalie Norton, Volunteer Manager at Hull CVS explained:

"Encouraging volunteering is in our DNA as a charity, but we also want to continue to do more to appreciate those vital volunteers too. With Making a Difference Day coming up on the 22nd of October, we felt it would be a great time to launch our 40 Thank You Volunteer Awards.

We’re looking for nominations from Hull’s voluntary sector for volunteers who you think deserve to be shouted about. 40 volunteers will be chosen from your nominations through a prize draw to receive a £10 gift voucher, but all nominees, regardless of whether they're sucessful within the prize drawer, will be celebrated via our social media channels and receive a certificate from Hull CVS celebrating their volunteer achievements."

If you know a volunteer who deserves a big thank you, complete this form for them to receive a certificate and be entered into the prize drawer.

Thank you to The Sir James Reckitt Charity for supporting us thanking volunteers in our region via their Centenary Grant.

Our 40 Thank You’s will be taking place week commencing the 17th of October.

Please can all applications be submitted by 9th of October.

If you have any questions please contact, Natalie, on nnorton@hull-cvs.co.uk
