The I AM Fund supports local performing arts organisations that provide opportunities for children and young people (ages 0-25) to participate in dance and drama.

The fund prioritises investment in youth talent, inspiring next generation creatives, and improving opportunities for children and young people to access performing arts.

Arcade Arts Ltd - The ARCADE Youth Theatre

The ARCADE Youth Theatre meets weekly.  Their project commences in April 2026 and the group will work on a musical. This is the type of performance the young people want to work on, Arcade Youth Theatre run one musical per year.  The young people are offered the choice of which musical they work on from the rights which are available.  The project will consist of 20 sessions which take place from April, performing at the end of September.

Goodwin Development Trust

Goodwin Development Trust will work with local young people to create a local sci-fi history based drama performance based around the history of Hull maritime and the blockhouse. The project will be based around a series of workshops. There will be elements in script writing, and audio play creation to help widen the performance skillset. 

Middle Child

No Dress Code is a new programme confronting the rising inequality in the performing arts. Revolutionising access to the arts for young people in Hull. Introducing young people to live performance in accessible, exciting and challenging ways.
