Christmas Appeal thank you's!

HEY Smile Foundation's main Christmas Appeal support this year was for Nurture a Child, a charity dedicated to promoting and assisting the development of opportunities for children and young people which includes children in (and leaving) the care system. Their appeal this year was to support 276 care leavers. 

Christmas is a difficult time of year for many, but even more so this year, with the cost of living crisis. Because of this, instead of a Christmas hamper, Nurture a Child committed to giving each of the 76 young people living independently a £50 supermarket voucher and Smile pledged to support with selection boxes and £10 vouchers for the other 200 care leavers.  

Due to the generosity of Smile's supporters, the following were donated to 276 care leavers in Hull.

276 x large selection boxes and 200 x £15 Love to Shop vouchers

76 x £50 supermarket vouchers were funded by Nurture a Child
