Responsibilities and Duties:

- Welcoming people as they arrive

- Providing refreshments such as tea, coffee and lunch

- Talking and supporting people whilst taking part in group activities

- Helping to clear away after the session

Personal qualities and skills

- Committed to including and treating people from all backgrounds with dignity

- Enjoy meeting new people, demonstrating empathy and compassion

- Have good verbal communication skills especially face to face

- Recognise the importance of confidentiality and can show this in practice

- Are comfortable volunteering as part of a team

- Able to use own initiative

- Reliability and flexibility
